EVALUATION OF TEACHERS' VIEWS ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TEACHING PROFESSIONAL ETHICS AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT


Intoday'sworld, whereglobalizationanddiversity do not slowdown, theorganizationalcommitment of theemployees, which has a greatimpact on theproductivityandproductivityincrease of theorganizations, plays an important role in thedevelopment of theinstitution. Theemotionalattachment of theemployeestotheorganizationcontributestotheirfeelingbetterandtotheachievement of thegoals of theorganization. Organizationalcommitment is thestrength of theemotionalbondthattheemployeefeelstowardstheinstitutiontheyworksfor.

It is possibletoexpressprofessionalethics as a set of rulescreatedforthebehaviorandattitudes of peopleworking in an organizationto be universal, andforthesebehaviorsto be in a moral line. Ifthereareprofessionalethicalprinciples in an organizationandiftheseprinciplesareactedupon, it meansthatconditionsarecreatedfortheformation of ethicalstandards in thesociety.

Thisstudy is a qualitativestudyandwasdesignedaccordingtophenomenologicalresearch. The data obtainedthroughone-to-oneinterviewswiththeteacherswereinterpretedwiththedescriptivecontentanalysistechnique. Withtheanswerstheygaveabouttherelationshipbetweenorganizationalcommitmentandprofessionalethics, it wastriedtodeterminetheextent of teachers' organizationalcommitmentandprofessionalethicsknowledge, therelationshipbetweenthesetwoconceptswasevaluated in terms of teachersandinterpretedwithtables.Theaim of thisstudy is tocontributetotheliterature on therelationshipbetweenorganizationalcommitmentandprofessionalethicsandtoencouragefuturestudies.As a result of theresearch, it has beenunderstoodthatteachers can be productivewhenbetterconditionsareprovidedforjobsatisfaction, andiftheadministratorsprovidethenecessaryfacilitiestotheteachers in ordertoachievethegoals of theorganization, it willmotivatetheteachersmore.
