In this context, every family wants to educate their children according to certain principles and to earn collecting. It is the responsibility of women to raise children as the structure of the Turkish family tradition. In this context, mother and child are inseparable. The concept of mother and child is an important subject that is treated as an integral whole in contemporary Turkish poetry. The poets have combined the concept of mother and child with different themes in the time passing from divan poetry to contemporary poetry. Sezai Karakoç and some poets have combined the concept of mother and child with death.
