A COMPARATIVE APPROACH TO THE PROPHET ADAM’S PARADISE (TABERSI, ALUSI, SIDDIK KHAN AND SHA’RAVI COMMENTARIES)

The issue of where the paradise in which the prophet Adam (pbuh) lived has been discussed, and evaluated in different ways among scholars and has led to disagreements. Tabersi, which we used in the research, includes the opinions mentioned by the ulama without commenting on the paradise where the prophet Adam and Eve lived, and gives place to the views that there is a different paradise in the earth, the hereafter, and the heavens. Alusi and Siddik Khan, on the other hand, state that this paradise is on earth. Both commentators do not consider it possible for the devil to enter the hereafter if there is a paradise, and also Alusi states that the paradise of the hereafter is the place prepared for believers on the Day of Judgment. Alusi gives a little more detail on this subject and conveys the view put forward by the people of mysticism, and that this paradise is on earth, and that it is visited  by the sages with their spirits today. Afterward, these two commentators mentioned the place where the prophet Adam and Eve fell after being taken out of the paradise. They state that the prophet Adam fell in Serendib, and Eve fell in Jeddah, and the Alusi devil fell in a place which called al-Ibiletti. Sha-ravi, on the other hand, put forward a different view, and after expressing that this paradise is not the paradise of the hereafter, he considers that it is a paradise of experience, and that their descent from this paradise is the first descent of the humanity to the earth. There  are three views on this subject. The paradise of the hereafter is that it is on earth and there is a place in the heavens other than the paradise of the hereafter.
