The science of recitation plays an important role in the correct and authentic reading of the Qur'an and its interpretation and understanding. Recitation is the science that deals with the lightness and shaddah of the revealed Qur'anic words and the differences in the letters of the Qur'an. In another definition, the recitation of the scholars means that one of the Qur'an Imams opposes the other Qur'an Imams in the recitation of the Qur'an. One of the important issues that the recitation scholars focus on is the accepted and rejected recitations. Scholars stipulate that in the accepted recitations, the deed must be mutawatir, comply with the official mushaf, and resemble the Arabic language rules in some respect. Scholars describe the rejected recitations as recitations that do not meet these conditions. Scholars have expressed different opinions on whether what is narrated in the famous and ahâd news should be accepted and considered as the Qur'an. In this regard, scholars also accept the famous narrations that are narrated by reliable people and that are in accordance with the Arabic language and do not follow one of the official mushafs and do not reach the level of tawaat. By reading this as an authentic recitation, they state that the one who worships and disbelieves is considered an unbeliever. By reading this as a sahih recitation, it indicates that the one who worships and disbelieves is not the disbeliever, and the recitation that is transmitted by the news is not the Qur'an, and the one who disbelieves is not an unbeliever. The rejected recitations are also divided into parts such as shaz, mudraj and subject. Neither prayer nor worship can be performed with them, nor can they be challenged, and it is stated that those who deny this part will not be unbelievers.
