TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGES ACCORDING TO THE SOCIAL STRUCTURAL APPROACH

The social structural approach in foreign language teaching is an educational method that combines linguistic structure and social theory in the process of language learning. This approach is based on the idea that language is not just a tool for communication, but a social and cultural phenomenon shaped through interactions and relationships between individuals within a society. The approach focuses on understanding language as part of the social structure that determines how it is used and interpreted. Therefore, language learning is not viewed as an individual process related solely to linguistic aspects, but is intertwined with the social environment in which the learner interacts. The approach is based on the belief that language learning occurs through social interaction and exchange between individuals in real social contexts. This means that the process of learning a language is not limited to grammar and vocabulary, but also involves understanding the social contexts in which the language is used. This approach contributes to enhancing students' ability to use the language in real-life situations and encourages them to interact with native speakers of the language. This research will attempt to introduce a new idea in foreign language teaching by combining two approaches: the first is the structural approach, and the second is the social approach.
