One of the values that affect human and social life is trust. Although there has been a lot of work on values education in recent years, the lack of studies on trust in the literature and the lack of trust value in the curricula are considered as a deficiency. In this context, the aim of the study is to present the value of trust as a suggestion for curricula. In this study, trust is discussed in terms of keeping one's word, being truthful, finishing the work that has been started, protecting trusts, keeping secrets and being consistent. Including the value of trust in the educational activities carried out in schools and raising reliable people will bring many benefits in terms of both the peace of the society and the mental health of the individual.
From a sociological perspective, trust plays a fundamental role in the sustainability of interpersonal relationships, social structures and institutions. Lack of trust negatively affects not only interpersonal relationships but also social order and functioning. In this context, adding the value of trust to curricula contributes not only to the construction of individuals but also to the construction of a society based on trust.
